About Us

Catholic Daughters of the Americas is a national organization that was established in 1903 and is the largest organization of Catholic women in the Americas.

St. Laurence Court 2402 in Sugar Land, Texas, was officially chartered on April 21, 1995 with 19 members. Our first Regent, Nancy Gros, with the help of Duchess Collins and Susan Zapalac from St. Theresa's, were instrumental in the formation of our court. By our 10th year we had grown  to 42 members. Our court continued to grow as we celebrated our 15th anniversary in May 2010. At the Biennial Texas State Convention in April 2011, Court 2402 brought home four 1st place awards as well as two 3rd place awards.  Through the dedication of Julie Chovanetz, our Junior Catholic Daughters was established May 2011.

We continue to work hard in "Unity & Charity" to serve our parish and the community.
